Experimenting with new AdSense placement

March 2011 has been the best month ever for jasonswett.net in terms of traffic. So far this month I’ve gotten over 1,600 visits which is way better than the 127 visits I got in March 2010. Perhaps it has something to do with the one post a day policy I tried for a while.

Sadly, though, I haven’t earned any AdSense revenue this March and I’ve earned less than $20 since I started using AdSense, which was like two years ago. My CTR is terrible (apparently I’m not allowed to publicly post my CTR for some reason, so I won’t tell you what it is). Someone on a forum suggested my poor CTR was due to my bad ad placement, so I’ve decided to place my ads differently to see if it makes a difference in CTR.

    Great bro, good luck for your experments. Try to place atleast 3-4 ads per post. Look at ad placement in my website what I learnt from digitalPoint fourm and that gives me good earnings. I hope you too earn well using adsense. Good luck again.
