Last summer my girlfriend Niki and I decided to take a little road trip down to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. This photo was taken in the Tennessee portion of the park which straddles the Tennessee-North Carolina border. When we got there, I called the fire department because I thought the mountains were smoky because they were on fire, but the fire department guys said it was just steam or something and not to call again unless I had a good reason. Boy, did I feel like an idiot!
